Illuminating the West with Medical Yoga

Yoga originated in India. It matured with the passage of time. The Indian gurus like Swami Vivekananda and B.K.S. Iyenger teaches the world the art of Yoga which has now been preserved and being catered to the West with all the possible efforts by Medical Yoga Center™ and the Yoga expert, Dr. Deepak Sachdeva.

Medical Yoga Center™ has successfully conducted its very first medical yoga camp in Florey, Canberra (Australia) in March 2010. The medical yoga camp was organized by The Hindu Temple & Cultural Center, HTCC (Canberra). Australian Health Ministry funded this camp to HTCC.
Initially, the schedule of the yoga practices was for just 3 hours a day. But, expected to last for a week, it was extended for 20 hours a day to serve, educate and enlighten the yoga practitioner and many other patients in pain by the Medical Yoga Center™ expert, Dr. Deepak Sachdeva.

A total of 3 types of sessions were organized for the medical yoga lovers. Those were Medical Yoga, meditation and general yoga. Numerous of attendees got benefit of medical yoga. Patients of Asthama got a very quick relief immediately, people taking pain killers for years quit consuming it in just 3-4 sessions, knee surgery cases were also treated successfully with the completion of each medical yoga sessions.
The response of the medical yoga camp was so good that the camp was extended for 10 days.

A Few interviews of Dr. Deepak Sachdeva were also aired by the local radio channels. The Medical Yoga Center™ attracted not only the Indian origin people but Australians also looked very satisfied and interested after practicing the medical yoga by an Indian yoga expert and a disciple of Yoga guru B.K.S. Iyenger, Dr. Deepak Sachdeva.
