The inception of the Medical Yoga Center™

Medical Yoga started™, its journey started on 9th July, 2007 at Jaidev Park, Punjabi Bagh with a grand support of 250-350 spectators at the opening ceremony. It was an early morning when Ajay Bhai Ji, a renowned celebrity Sunderkand narrator in the city, exhibited the ‘Sunderkaand Paath’ followed by religious ‘bhajans’ which mesmerized the crowd present at the center.

The event followed as the founder of the Medical Yoga Center™, Dr. Deepak Sachdeva, addressed the spectators and interacted with them with a detailed presentation about the benefits, treatment and cure in Medical Yoga. He also exhibited the art of meditation among the people there. People also performed meditation along with him. The attendees were so influenced after the meditation with Dr. Deepak Sachdeva that they asked him for the CDs of the session. Their faces were expressing the hurry to join the center and to get their all problems cured with the Medical Yoga.
Actually, 20-25 people got enrolled on that very day of the opening ceremony.

The President and Secretary of Aggarwal Sabha, Trustee of Maharaja Agrasen College, local area councilors were also present.

Illuminating the West with Medical Yoga

Yoga originated in India. It matured with the passage of time. The Indian gurus like Swami Vivekananda and B.K.S. Iyenger teaches the world the art of Yoga which has now been preserved and being catered to the West with all the possible efforts by Medical Yoga Center™ and the Yoga expert, Dr. Deepak Sachdeva.

Medical Yoga Center™ has successfully conducted its very first medical yoga camp in Florey, Canberra (Australia) in March 2010. The medical yoga camp was organized by The Hindu Temple & Cultural Center, HTCC (Canberra). Australian Health Ministry funded this camp to HTCC.
Initially, the schedule of the yoga practices was for just 3 hours a day. But, expected to last for a week, it was extended for 20 hours a day to serve, educate and enlighten the yoga practitioner and many other patients in pain by the Medical Yoga Center™ expert, Dr. Deepak Sachdeva.

A total of 3 types of sessions were organized for the medical yoga lovers. Those were Medical Yoga, meditation and general yoga. Numerous of attendees got benefit of medical yoga. Patients of Asthama got a very quick relief immediately, people taking pain killers for years quit consuming it in just 3-4 sessions, knee surgery cases were also treated successfully with the completion of each medical yoga sessions.
The response of the medical yoga camp was so good that the camp was extended for 10 days.

A Few interviews of Dr. Deepak Sachdeva were also aired by the local radio channels. The Medical Yoga Center™ attracted not only the Indian origin people but Australians also looked very satisfied and interested after practicing the medical yoga by an Indian yoga expert and a disciple of Yoga guru B.K.S. Iyenger, Dr. Deepak Sachdeva.

CASE STUDY

After every kind of treatment, he could not get relief from his pain.
Then he met Dr. Deepak Sachdeva and after clinical check-up, going through patients medical reports, medically modified asanas mentioned were prescribed. He started doing Yoga Asanas exactly as they are being instructed to him.

Asanas that were done during the treatments:

·         Vipreet karni 1- this asana is used to rehydrate the lumber disc, restore the lumber lordosis and relieve the pressure on the disc on the exiting of nerve roots in L4 L5 L5 S1.
·         Uradhvad hasth asana (sitting)- to reduce the disc bulged and restore the elasticity of the spine.
·         Ek pad sukt gomukh – to release the pressure of periformis muscle on the sciatic nerve

हार्ट हमारे शरीर के बेहद महत्वपूर्ण अंगों में से एक है। पूरे शरीर में सही तरीक़े से  खून-संचार की ज़िम्मेदारी हार्ट पे ही होती है। लेकिन इसके लिए ज़रूरी है कि हम अपने हार्ट को सही तरह से काम करने का मौक़ा दें और कुछ सावधानी बरतें जिससे आप हार्ट की बीमारियों से बच सकें।

अपने हार्ट को हेल्दी रखने के लिए ज़रूरी है कि आप रोज़ व्यायाम करें, टहलें और कुछ एक आसान करें जो आपके हार्ट को मज़बूत रख सकते हैं। डाइट की बात करें तो आपके लिए ज़रूरी है कि खाने में सोडियम की मात्रा कम से कम हो। नमक ऐसा यूज़ करें जिसमे सोडियम कम हो और हो सके तो टेबल-सॉल्ट की जगह आप सेंधा-नमक(रॉक साल्ट) का इस्तेमाल करें। अपने रेगुलर चॉकलेट्स की पसंद को बदलकर डार्क चॉकलेट्स का इस्तेमाल करें। ये चॉकलेट्स हार्ट के लिए बेहद लाभकारी होते हैं।
अगर आप सही मायनों में अपने हार्ट को मज़बूत बनाना चाहते हैं तो आपको दो आदतों को हमेशा के लिए छोड़ना होगा, स्मोकिंग और अल्कोहल। आज ज़्यादातर हार्ट की बीमारियों की वजह सिगरेट और शराब है। ख़ासकर स्मोकिंग की वजह से वो नसें सिकुड़ने लगती हैं जो हमारे हार्ट तक ब्लड सप्लाई करती हैं। इसकी वजह से हार्ट के अंदर टार घर बना लेता है जिससे हार्ट के सञ्चालन पे असर पड़ने लगता है।

Everyone wants to stay happy no one wants sorrow.  The reason of this 'attachment with happiness' is because that's the property of your 'self'.

Happiness is about 'Anukool Samvedan' it's very subjective. For example someone would like to go for a morning walk and other person will enjoy sleep till late.

Actually both are good as far as the self happiness is concerned. Others might feel that walking is good for health and 'those who sleep till late never become successful' but here the point is neither health nor success. The point is about enjoying sleep. Others (outsiders) feel that seeing late is unhealthy and unproductive and they implant the thoughts in the the mind of the doer. These are actually the feelings
